That’s why we built our Replacement lamps to kill that startup lag. Hitting the heat, fast. To get the temperature where it needs to be in milliseconds, we had to get picky about the materials. We tweaked the tungsten density in the filament and cleaned up the quartz envelope. The result? The lamp hits peak infrared emission almost instantly. It means your preform is soft and ready the exact moment it hits the mold, no matter how fast you’ve got that machine spinning. Built for the grind These lamps take a beating. They’re constantly clicking on and off, which creates a massive amount of thermal shock. We use high-grade fused quartz because it doesn’t crack under that kind of pressure. And they just fit. Whether you’re using a standard R7s or a specialized Sk15 base, these are drop-in replacements. No fiddling, no gaps, and definitely no arcing at the contact points. Plus, we can add specific coatings to the quartz. Instead of wasting energy heating up your machine frame, the heat goes exactly where it belongs: right into the PET. A quick heads-up from the shop floor Here’s the thing: high heat density is great for production, but it puts a lot of stress on your power supplies. If you’re cranking up the wattage to squeeze out more throughput, do yourself a favor and check your cooling blowers. Keep them clean. If your airflow drops, the housing will overheat, and you’ll burn through your filaments way faster than you should.
