What It’s Made Of
We built the tube from quartz that can handle intense heat and the constant shock of heating up and cooling down. Inside, a halogen filament pumps out shortwave infrared, which hits the preform surface fast and hard. The reflective coating on the tube keeps that energy focused forward, so you don’t end up baking the machine frame and wiring. The connector is the standard R7s—the one this job calls for.
