The Tech, Without the Jargon
This heater runs on a 12V low-voltage supply, pulling power straight from a battery or transformer you probably already have. We chose this voltage on purpose. It’s all about safety and making installation a breeze. You can wire it into existing low-voltage circuits, so there’s no need to mess with heavy-duty conduit or a major electrical panel upgrade. The unit itself is compact, so it fits easily into tight spots, but it still delivers the concentrated heat density you need to warm things up fast.
What’s Inside, and Why It Matters
Inside, the heating element is a halogen-filled quartz tube that generates shortwave infrared radiation. What that means for you is intense, directional heat. It travels in a straight line, warming people and floors directly—not the air in between. The R7s connector gives you a secure, two-point contact, which keeps the current flowing smoothly and cuts down on resistance at the terminals. This means fewer hot spots and a longer life for the element, even if you’re turning it on and off a lot.
