Technical Deep-Dive
Plugging it in is simple—it runs on standard mains voltage, so setup is straightforward. The halogen element throws out intense radiant heat, focused into a tight beam. That means you can warm a specific spot—like a pet’s favorite corner or a display case—without turning the whole room into a sauna. The wattage is tuned to give you enough power for enclosed spaces, while keeping surface temps sensible.
Material & Design
Inside, the halogen filament sits in a quartz tube. Quartz handles high heat well and stays steady even with frequent on/off switching, which helps keep maintenance downtime low. The tube also has a protective coating that resists thermal shock and cuts glare. That matters when you’re working near delicate materials or animals—less glare, less stress. For the electrical connection, we went with an R7s connector. It slides in clean, aligns right, and locks in place. No special tools. Just wire it up, line up the pins, and you’re done. It’s a drop-in fit for existing fixtures or brand-new setups.
