If you’ve ever managed a PET blowing line, you know the headache. You need a replacement lamp, but every OEM seems to have their own weird version of voltage, wattage, or connectors. The Balance of Heat and Power
We offer a wide range of voltages, usually between 220V and 400V, because we know every power grid and controller is different. If you’re running a high-speed line, a 400V high-wattage tube is your best friend. It gets you to temperature fast. But here is the catch: pushing that much heat into a small space puts a lot of pressure on your reflector housings. Just make sure your cooling fans are actually doing their job, or you’ll end up with melted sockets. And nobody wants that.
No More “Custom” Parts
To keep these lamps from burning out too quickly, we use high-purity quartz glass and halogen gas. It’s simple, but it works. As for the fit? We stick to R7s and Sk15 connectors. These are the industry standards for a reason. Whether you’re replacing a lamp from a big-name brand or a niche manufacturer, these should slide right in. You won’t have to mess with your brackets or rewire your machine.
Keeping the Line Moving
The goal is simple: heat the plastic without scorching it. We use coated tubes that manage the wavelength, so the heat sinks into the PET wall evenly. Plus, we keep these in stock. You don’t have to wait weeks for an OEM shipment while your production dips. You just wire it up, dial in your power, and your preforms hit the right temp. If your plant runs 24/7, these tubes can handle the constant heating and cooling without cracking under the pressure. It just works.
